Halloween Activities for Toddlers 2023

Happy Halloween! Before I had my daughter I wasn’t into doing anything for Halloween. Since her birth, my daughter’s Halloweens have been underwhelming. This year however I decided to change all that. Below are some fun Halloween activities for toddlers!

Dress Up & Go Neighborhood Trick or Treating

Trick or treating within your neighborhood is a classic. It’s an easy and casual way to reconnect with or meet the people who live right next door or around the corner. Dressing up for Halloween doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming either. Remember it’s about having fun!

Dress Up & Give Out Candy/Snacks

If walking around the neighborhood isn’t for you and your little one, set up a candy/snack booth to give out candy. A simple table, chairs for y’all, candy/snacks, and Halloween decor is all you need. You can dress up in your favorite costume and enjoy Halloween festivities without leaving your house.

Indulge in Halloween Themed Meals/Snacks

I love a good themed meal. Consider pumpkin mini muffins with apple cider for breakfast. Maybe Crescent Mummy Dogs for lunch? What about a Jack O Lantern pizza from Papa Johns? Not to mention kettle corn, apple slices, and pumpkin shaped pretzels for snacks.

Halloween Happy Night

Halloween can be known to be a bit scary especially for the little ones. Why not change that and enjoy some toddler-friendly Halloween shows/movies? Think Curious George, Clifford The Big Red Dog, Dr. McStuffins, and Charlie Brown. All of these shows have their Halloween specials or episodes. Throw on your cutest matching Halloween pj set, grab some popcorn, and enjoy yourselves!

Create a Boo Basket

Boo baskets seem to have taken over my TikTok. My sister actually made my daughter a boo basket and it’s the cutest thing. Head to the store and grab some candy, baskets, snacks, crafts, books, toys, etc. Bring everything home and let everyone enjoy making a boo basket for themselves or others. You can also head to the store with your little ones give them a basket and let them fill it. However you choose to do it have fun!

Happy Halloween Everyone!
